East Tennessee Plantation Desk

A true plantation desk is made of two parts, a stand
used for a writing surface and a top unit that opens to reveal pigeon
holes and storage. The top section would be lifted off the stand in the
plantation house and placed in the bed of a wagon. From there it was taken
to the fields to tally the crops as they were harvested. This particular
one is crafted in solid walnut and originates from Johnson City,
Washington County, Tennessee from about 1880.

This draw leaf oak table is 36 inches by 42 inches with 2
- 9 inch leaves. Included also are four matching oak chairs with their
original leather seats and a matching server with 3 drawers and 3 shelved

Grain Painted Washstand
Rare yellow grain painted washstand with a scrolled
back splash. Original three colored striped stencil decoration along top,
back splash and front. Complete with a lift top, lower drawer and

Welsh Dresser

In
England a dresser was a cabinet that stored serving platters and bowls and
was used to “dress the food” before serving. The open top was used to
display the family’s best pewter and crockery. This is a fine example with
two glass enclosed cupboards on the open top, a base with ample storage
all resting on lovely Queen Anne legs and pad feet. This dresser measures
78 inches tall, 66 inches wide and 20 inches deep. We offer this dresser

nails, features 'cookie cutter' corners and turned legs. It is paired with

Oak Tilt Top Dresser

Lovely oak tilt top dresser with three drawers.
Original tear drop pulls and wood applique on splash back. The mirror is

Chest on Stand

This is a perfect walnut five drawer chest on stand, raised on shaped
cabriole legs. This piece originates from a Connecticut estate. The five
graduated drawers have chamfered bottoms and the entire chest is hand made
with pegged construction and its original brass hardware. This is an

Moorcroft Pottery

Moorcroft of England is considered the world's finest pottery. We have
recently imported 4 lovely Moorcroft vases. Two are 7 1/2
inches in height and the smaller two are 4 1/4 inches. All four have a cobalt
blue base color and hand painted flowers. Each piece is signed by the artist. The

Originating from the mid 1800s in Chichester, Merrimack
County, New Hampshire, this dry sink measures 42 inches wide by 18 inches
deep and is 31 inches high. With a warm rich color, this dry sink has its
original metal thumb latch and wooden pull on the one door cupboard below.
